Because I still point one out on the road every time we go out:
[points] “allroad!”
“That Audi wagon you like?”
“Yeah!”
“You said they were really expensive to maintain and unreliable.”
“They are, compared to the Celica, or this, or the truck or....”
“If you want to buy a nice, 7-,8-, 10-thousand dollar car, just do it.”
“They’re like 3 to 7-thousand dollars, depending.”
“Oh.”
[...]
“It seems almost too nice, too fancy. Just buy it for yourself and we’ll use my car for the dog and nephews.”
“It’s not fancy — it’s 15 years old.”
“What?!?”
“Yeah! See? That’s how good it looks.”

They are moving? Under their own power, or on a flatbed?

Other side of wife's mouth, as soon as something breaks: "I can't believe you bought a 15-year-old car, what were you thinking?"

Why would you do that to yourself? Once you fix the broken airbags, the turbos will start to go, unless the automatic transmission decides to empty your bank account first. And that’s before we get to the regular VAG electronic issues you’ll be dealing with.
Continue to admire from afar, and you’ll be happier/richer/better looking.
*They are cool, though, so maybe go for it.

I suggest you get a nice Toyota Yaris hatchback like this instead...
http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/…
And you should get that over the Audi because it has a Lifetime Warranty!
And it’s Blue!!!
